I was recently forwarded an excellent article from the Huffington Post by Anne Almasy entitled “Resolution”. It spoke to the importance of what the wedding day really is about. Many people are focused on the decor, the food, the flowers, and that much needed open bar. But we all tend to forget the one single reason couples are getting married… to celebrate a union of two families.
A great quote from Anne’s article…”If you’re planning your wedding right now, please just close the magazine. Log out of Pinterest. And look at the person you want to grow old with. Remind yourself of why you’re doing this. And really CELEBRATE when that day comes.”
Remember on your wedding day, don’t stress out about all those details. Make sure to enjoy your family time. We’ll make sure to capture everything that is needed to document your day. Because at the end of the day, you’ll come to realize that the most cherished photos you will have from your wedding day are not the photos of your cake, not the handmade place cards you so painstakingly made, or not even the photo of those expensive shoes. What you will really cherish many years from now are those family photos… and the people in them who were there to celebrate with you.
